Grooming Services

Every appointment is booked for one pet. That is what makes the rest of this possible: no rushing, no waiting in a crate, and time to work at your pet's pace.

Full Grooms & Haircuts

A full groom is the whole visit: a bath, a proper blow-out, and a hand-finished haircut shaped to your pet's coat type and to how you like them to look between appointments.

Bring a photo if you have one in mind, or tell me how short you want to go and how long you need it to last. Nails, ears and a sanitary trim are part of the groom.

Bathing & Deshedding

A thorough bath, a high-velocity dry, and a deshedding treatment that pulls the loose undercoat out here rather than onto your sofa.

Double-coated breeds get the most out of this. It is not a shave, and it should not be: the undercoat comes out and the guard coat stays where it belongs.

Nails, Ears & Teeth

Nails trimmed and then filed smooth so nothing catches, ears cleaned and checked, and teeth brushed.

These can be booked on their own as a short tidy-up visit between full grooms, which is often the easiest way to keep a nervous dog comfortable with having their feet handled.

Spa Treatments & Massage

Conditioning treatments for coats that need more than a wash, and a calming massage for pets who take a while to settle.

Older dogs and anxious dogs tend to be the ones who benefit most. There is no queue behind them, so there is no reason to hurry.

Maintenance Grooms

A shorter visit on a regular schedule, usually every four to six weeks, to keep a coat comfortable and matt-free without a full haircut every time.

This is the cheapest way to look after a coat that mats easily, because it prevents the situation where clipping short is the only humane option left.

Cat Grooming

Cats are groomed in the same quiet private room, with no dogs anywhere in earshot.

Brush-outs, sanitary trims, nail trims and lion cuts for long-haired cats who have got ahead of their owners. More about cat grooming.

Pricing

Grooming prices depend on size, coat type and the condition the coat arrives in, so I quote them honestly rather than posting a number that turns out to be wrong. Call or text with your pet's breed and roughly when they were last groomed and I will give you a straight answer.
